An adaptation of the movie of Phillip Noyce.
Worn at the time by the duo of Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie, the suspense thriller the Bone Collector (1998) has asserted itself over the years as one of the detective films most emblematic of the late 1990s.
Twenty years later, the american channel NBC has wanted to give the flavor of the day and has ordered a pilot series, adapted from the film, itself adapted from the novels Lincoln Rhyme from Jeffery Deaver. Thus, the version tv will not be titled not The Bone Collector (which is also the first book collection of Deaver) but Lincoln.
The story will always be centered on the legendary criminologist forensic scientist Lincoln Rhyme, was seriously injured in the course of his search for a serial killer evil. It will be recalled when the Bone Collector will reappear. Lincoln will then form a unique partnership with Amelia Sachs, a young cop…
Recall that Lincoln is a quadriplegic in the novels and in the film, but it is not yet said clearly that this will remain the case in the television adaptation.
VJ Boyd (S. W. A. T.), Avi Nir (Homeland), Peter Traugott (The Brave) and Rachel Kaplan (Wisdom of the Crowd) will be the executive producers of the project. No date, and no casting announced for the moment.
