Beach and Marshall’s Beach
This amazing secret place that not even know some of the locals. The cosy beach offers breathtaking views of the legendary Golden Gate bridge. To get here, you must reach the exit from the Boulevard Lincoln, to climb over a small fence and walk down the stairs and the path. This beach is almost always deserted and somewhat inaccessible, it is perfect to watch the sunset.
Lookout Point Lobos
It is near famous landmark Sutro Baths, a former huge pool with a glass roof, from which only ruins remained. Here come many tourists. And Point Lobos get only one. This is a small patch on a cliff, offering spectacular views of the stunning ocean and the raging waves.
Tenderloin is a criminal area, and therefore in the references about it do not write. Here you can experience incredible contrast. On one side of the street you can see beggars and drug dealers, other businessmen and employees of influential companies. Such diversity you will not see in any part of the city. The most interesting is the geographic location of the Tenderloin. It is located in the heart of San Francisco between the famous financial and shopping districts.
One of the most popular places among tourists is pier 39. The place is crowded even on a weekday. But on the pier 14 almost nobody is. Enjoy Treasure island, Alcatraz and the Bay bridge is best from here.
Alley Lover’s Lane
It is located in the heart of the Park Presido. Here you can retire from the crowd and noisy tourists. The path is perfect for strolls with your loved one. There’s even an art installation Andy Goldsworthy is a huge beam in the form of a zigzag, which is located in the middle of thick and dense eucalyptus forests.
If you love art, do visit this Museum. Here you can enjoy a variety of exhibits ranging from modern and wildly crazy expensive installations to brilliant pictures. Here often expose the work of Edvard Munch, Garry Winogrand, Diane Arbus, Walker Evans and other famous artists.
