COVID: Lady Gaga gathers stars for a concert
Some of the biggest stars on the planet have responded to Lady Gaga’s call and will participate in a gigantic concert in tribute to healthcare workers.
The funds raised will support the efforts of the World Health Organization to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
Lady Gaga, however, clarified that it will not be a telethon. Philanthropists and businesses will instead be invited to make donations before the event.
The One World: Together at Home concert will be broadcast on Saturday April 18 at 8 p.m. Montreal time on the three major American networks and online. In Quebec, the VRAK channel will also broadcast the show, with French subtitles.
Super stars like Sir Paul McCartney, Elton John, Billie Eilish, Stevie Wonder, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Chris Martin of Coldplay, Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, John Legend and Keith Urban will be there .
Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert will act as facilitators.
