The technology is called Music: Not Impossible (MNI).
M:NI is the product of years of research and development of the American company Not Impossible Labs. Employees of the company have developed a complete platform for the production, transfer and send audio as vibration wirelessly in the body of the user. They said Music: Not Impossible delivers the enhanced musical experience for the deaf, but for all that hear.
The system consists of a set of wearable devices, software, hardware, and wireless communications. Set to be worn includes a harness, two bracelets and two strips that are attached to the ankle that provides 8 distinctive areas of vibration throughout the body of the user.
The power will be due to the battery located in the bracelets. M:NI will transmit vibrations when playing music to the skin.
According to the developers, in the near future vibrotactile art will become a new means of expression and users will be able to assess the rhythm, intensity and movement of the music.
