Florence K challenges the public to illustrate a video clip

The singer-songwriter Florence K in turn challenges the public to create the video for the second extract from her new album.
The artist asks people to send him short videos taken from their balcony to illustrate the piece Tranquille .

“I would like to receive a video of the view from your balcony to travel the world with people’s balconies,” she said in a video posted on her Facebook page Thursday morning.

The piece Tranquille , which is an ode to travel, was written by Jean-Jacques Marnier and composed by Daran. The artist wishes to add images of smiling faces from Quebec and elsewhere.

Interested parties have until Tuesday to send the artist a 10 to 15 second video captured using their phone, taking care to mention on the screen the first name of the person and the place where the video has been taken. “The most inspiring videos will be included in his video,” said a press release. Videos must be sent to coordo@livetoune.com by email with the subject “Quiet video + First name + Location” or by Wetransfer.com if the file is too large.

The artist’s Montreal premiere, which was to take place in April 2020, was postponed to January 29, 2021 at the Outremont theater in Montreal.
