Game of Thrones : attention, le Roi de la Nuit va parler !

The actor Slovak who plays the famous “Night King” break the silence, and it is rare.

You do not recognize the sight surely not if you happen across tomorrow in the street. And yet, it embodies one of the characters in major of Game of Thrones. Stuntman at the start in the series for HBO, the actor Slovak Vladimir Furdik has become the Night King, from season 6, succeeding Richard Brake, in the skin of the leader of the White Walkers.

“I don’t really know why I had castit,” says Furdik to EW. “When we shot the season 5, I was the White Walker who has fought Jon Snow [in episode “Hardhome”]. The first time Jon Snow has killed a White Walker, it was me. After this, David Benioff and D. B. Weiss have asked if I could play the Night King during seasons 6 to 8. I never asked why. Perhaps they were glad of what I had done in season 5 !”

Game of Thrones : but who is the mysterious “captain golden” of the trailer ?

So who is really the King iced and what does he want in the end ? This is what the actor thinks : “Each director has a different vision of the way of the play. Dan and David want it to be a man cold, others want to show them more human. And very often, they ask me not to blink your eyes. It is very difficult (…) Someone has made this man the King of the night. Does anyone know who he was before. A soldier ? A noble ? He never wanted to be the King of the night. I think he wants revenge. Everyone in this story has two sides – one bad and one good. But to him, it has only one side : the wrong side !”

Finally, Vladimir Furdik reveals that in the season 8, the boss of the undead will be downright “a target in mind, someone he wants to kill and you’ll know who it is. And then there’s also that time [in “Hardhome”] where Jon Snow was on the boat, and the Night King was looking at him with his arms raised… there will be a time similar and even stronger between Jon and him, in the season 8 of Game of Thrones“.

See from April 14, 2019 on HBO and in France on OCS.
