Marvel TV is aimed directly to the fans and tease the return of the series cancelled

Marvel TV s'adresse directement aux fans et tease le retour des séries annulées

“It does not measure the quality of a man to the manner in which it is put to the mat, but in how he rises.”

There will be more series for Marvel on Netflix. This time, it is clear, as Jessica Jones and The Punisher were cancelled yesterday, a few months after Daredevil, Iron Fist and Luke Cage. The u.s. platform therefore said goodbye to his franchise Defenders. But this is not to say that the avengers of New York will not come back elsewhere.

It is, in essence, the message that has been sent to Jeph Loeb, head of Marvel TV, in an open letter to fans and released yesterday, just after the announcement of Netflix :

“They told us that we could not make it. But Marvel has brought together teams of amazing to write, produce, direct, edit, and put it to music 13-seasons and 161 episodes of an hour. Take a moment to go online and see the list of dazzling actors, authors, filmmakers, and musicians who have provided us with the best of them item We have loved every minute of it. And we have done everything for you – the fans – who cheered throughout the world and have made it so that all this hard work worthwhile. So, thank you! On behalf of everyone at Marvel Television, we could not be more proud or more grateful to our public.”

Season 4 of Daredevil was already prepared before the series was cancelled

It resumes, and this is where it gets interesting : “Our network partner may have decided not to continue to tell the story of these great characters… but you know better Marvel than that ! As said one day the father of Matthew Murdock : “”One does not measure the quality of a man to the manner in which it is put to the mat, but in how he rises.” To be continued… !”

Follow, actually. Jeph Loeb means beautiful and good, in these last words, that Daredevil, Jessica Jones , and their friends could have a sequel, also. Or that Marvel TV has been new super-series in mind. It may be on Hulu (which is owned by Disney, 30%). Or may be squarely on Disney +. In the meantime, it will be the same when season 3 of Jessica Joneson Netflix, by the end of the year.
