The nbc sitcom Netflix, very much appreciated by the american press and by his fans, will not have a result. One Day at a Time (over The days in the VF) has been cancelled by the platform, five weeks after the release of season 3. Therefore, there will be no season 4… at least not for the moment. Because Sony, the studio that produces the show, has announced its intention to offer the series elsewhere.
Remains a problem of size : the hearing. Netflix adored visibly the series, but “simply not enough people have watched it to justify a new season, “writes the american group, in a tweet almost apologetic :
“It was a great honour to work with the legendary Norman Lear“, commented also Ted Sarandos, chief operations officer of Netflix, in a press release. “I have personally talked to Norman and co-creators, Gloria Calderón Kellett and Mike Royce, to express my gratitude to you and to all the writers, the camera crew and dedicated to the distribution. They have created a series with such humor, so much heart and humanity. This decision was very difficult and we would like to thank all the fans who have supported the series. Even if it is disappointing that more viewers have not watched over The Days, I think the series will stand the test of time.”
