Outdoor fires prohibited in Brome-Missisquoi
Since Sunday, and until further notice, outdoor fires of any kind will be prohibited on the territory of the MRC Brome-Missisquoi.
C ette measure aims to stem the risk of fire to limit the outputs of the firefighters, all to avoid the risk of spread of Covid-19.
Until this decision is overturned, the public is invited to put its leaves and branches in the compost.
On the side of the MRC de Rouville, exterior fires are authorized provided that they have obtained a permit from their municipal fire safety service and have a compliant installation, that is to say a non-combustible surface with a barrier – spark or chimney with cap.
