Press conference banned for adults on COVID-19
Do your children have questions about the current pandemic? The National Cooperative of Independent Information (CN2i) and Télé-Québec are proud to announce that they will allow them to ask their questions directly to the Minister of Families, Mathieu Lacombe.
The emotional balance of children can be upset during this pandemic, as evidenced by the alarm launched by the World Health Organization on this subject. The young people, confined to the house, hear and see many things; snatches of adult conversations, rumors, photos they have trouble decoding…
This Friday at 2 p.m., Minister Lacombe will answer their questions on COVID-19.
All the children of Quebec were invited to ask the Minister their questions. We received 1200!
The editor-in-chief of Le Soleil, Valérie Gaudreau will be the spokesperson for children’s questions to the Minister of Families Mathieu Lacombe.
This “press briefing for children only” will be broadcast on the digital platforms of our cooperatives – Le Soleil in Quebec, Le Droit in Ottawa-Gatineau, Le Nouvelliste in Trois-Rivières, La Tribune in Sherbrooke, Le Quotidien in Saguenay, and La Voix de l’Est in Granby – as well as on Télé-Québec’s new SQUAT Canal.
CN2i and Télé-Québec are extremely proud to support young people in the current situation by providing them with adequate information and answering THEIR questions. This initiative is in addition to the daily distribution of topical content for young people produced by CN2i and broadcast on Squat .
In addition, CN2i and Télé-Québec produced an animated capsule on the COVID-19, currently available on the different platforms of the two partners.
