Yastremsky won the Thailand Open and got a Dolphin

Ukrainian tennis player Diane Yastremsky (No. 47 WTA) won the final match of the International tournament in Hua hin. In the main match of the Thailand Open Ukrainka in a difficult match with a score of 2:1 (6:2, 2:6, 7:6 (7:3)) defeated Islay Tomljanovic (No. 49 WTA) from Australia.

As the main prize Yastremsky was handed a beautiful Dolphin!

Note that the 14 October 2018 Yastremsky won the tournament in Hong Kong.

Interestingly, last season Yastremsky defeated the Spaniard at the tournament in Luxembourg (6:2, 6:3).

In the semi-final in Hua hin Yastremsky will play against Magda linette of Poland (No. 98 WTA). In the season of 2018 Yastremsky beat a polka in the tournament in new haven with a score of 2:0 (7:6, 7:6).

Ukrainian tennis player Diane Yastremsky made it to the quarterfinals of the International tournament in Hua hin, winning the Chinese girl Peng Shuai.

After the match Yastremsky commented on his victory.

“I made a good start and felt very comfortable. In the second set were a bit weaker, could not find their game. I just tried to keep playing, to keep calm, to find his rhythm.

If we talk about the next match, I played with both players last year. Garbinie the Wind I played, and Mona Barthel lost. I think I’ll watch their game in what condition they are in, and will prepare for the game, I will try to show the best I can” – the words Yastremsky the official WTA website.

In the quarterfinals, the Ukrainian will meet with the winner of the State pairs Garbinie – Mona Barthel.
